Statement of Faith

(under construction)

First and foremost we do not claim to be experts, in fact if you do yourself we will probably avoid you like the plague. Will we make mistakes? ABSOLUTELY, yet we are fully accepting of reproof (Proverbs 17:10) backed with Scripture. We also feel the greatest hindrance to the church is division over unsalvific issues that are not fully revealed in Scripture, or unsalvific personal beliefs/viewpoints that could go different ways.

Therefore we WILL NOT tolerate anger or personal attacks or rebukes in matters of this nature. We WILL peaceably discuss these areas with anyone willing to do so in a Christ-like biblical manor, and remain brothers and sisters in Christ agreeing to disagree on such points without causing division.

If you just wan't to argue your denominational viewpoints outside of clear Biblical sound doctrine, and carry resentment, anger, or other self-righteous attitudes in such areas you are wasting your time, and we WILL NOT waste ours. Time MUST be spent proclaiming the good news of Christ Jesus to the lost with love, not fighting among one another over "who's right"! Because one thing we KNOW, not a SINGLE one of us have it perfectly figured out and executed.

   Triune God:

We believe in the triune God of Scripture, Creator of all known and unknown to us(Revelation 4:11; Psalms 19:1). God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Undoubtedly as a OT Hebrew monothestic faith, extended to the coming of Christ and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Christ crucified, risen, second coming of Christ, and fulfillment of all of Gods Word, as is written.

   A few Trinitarian references: Matthew 28:18; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2; Revelation 1:4

A few Triadic form references: Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Corinthians 12:3-6 are clear examples of gifts by the Godhead emphasized in these.

A few Scriptures on Jesus farewell discourse to the disciples and explaining the ministry and work of the Spirit as the agent of God as we continue the Son's ministry are referenced here: John 14:16; 15:26; 16:13-15

This is but a drop in the infallible Holy Scripture bucket so to speak on the Trinity, if further

discussion/clarity is needed contact us. To fully comprehend the entirety of the Trinity is beyond the most intelligent of our finite minds. This is primarily done by experiencing grace through faith and knowing what is presented to us in Gods perfectly preserved Word and fully accepting these gifts.

Salvation is a gift of God(John 6:44) as is every single aspect of human life. It can ONLY be obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ(Acts 4:12; John 14:6; Romans 10:13; Matthew 11:28; John 3:3; Romans 10:9; Romans 10:13) are just a few references. There is no other way to heaven but by the perfect substitutionary atonement and sacrifice made by Jesus Christ who knew no sin, for our sins. Christ drank the cup of the wrath of God the world deserved, rose again on the third day, and will return to gather his bride (the church/Saints/all whom have believed) and Judge the world.

There is nothing you can do to get to heaven by any other means but by the grace of God and praying and asking and accepting Jesus Christ into your heart. If you truly believe than you are saved. This does not mean you will wake up the next morning and be the mirror image of Christ. Sanctification is a lifelong process that will not be perfected until we are in Glory. Although there should be a newfound HUNGER for things of Christ, according to Scripture. (We will get into signs of a true conversion later) because while nothing you can do will "save" you from hell, there are things that should be happening in your life, like repentance. A desire to pray, fellowship, study Scripture, and things you used to love more than likely you will come to despise, especially sin.

Contrary to what you may think or have been told; baptism is not a requirement of salvation. Having water sprinkled on you as a baby, or getting dunked in a pool at a church, or in a creek, or river, whatever body of water is chosen will not get you to heaven.

Baptism is a symbolic public profession of your faith, basically telling the world you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior. It symbolizes the renewal and change in your life. Your testifying to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the way of salvation. While it is NOT necessary for salvation, why in the world would one not wan't to share in the joy of testifying publicly. Testifying to the miracle of God drawing you to Christ, accepting him, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. That you have been crucified with Christ and are now a "new creature"(2 Corinthians 5:17)

When you repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ you should want to be baptized. As John the Baptist was immersing sinners in scripture(John 1:6, 11) He proclaimed the coming of the Messiah, who would baptize with the Spirit and fire(Matthew 3:11) he also baptized sinless Christ himself(Matthew 3:13-17; John 1:13-16).

Referenced also to the suffering and death of Christ(Mark 10:38-39; Luke 12:50; reference also Romans 6:1-7; Colossians 2:12). It shows you have died to your old way of life and raised to a new way of life Christ eternal life(Matthew 28:19-20; Colossians 3:1; 2 Timothy 2:11) highlighting the Christian's resurrection(Romans 6:1-6).

Baptism for the dead was even mentioned in Scripture in(1 Corinthians 15) yeah we know, leave it to Paul to quickly dismantle and correct the errors in thinking here. Amen

God's Word, The Holy Bible, 66 books, no more, no less(Revelation 22:18-19). God inspired, for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness(2 Timothy 3:16-17). Absolute TRUTH without error, not portions, every single word of Scripture is of God and contains the milk and meat needed to grow(1 Peter 2:2).

It always was, is, and will always be(Matthew 24:25). Necessary TRUTH for sanctification(John 17:17). Not full of secret hidden messages(2 Peter 1:20-21). While human intelligence and logic have no effect on God's sovereignty or power, we should not expect to grow big if we search them little, be like those from Berea(Acts 17:11) and as commanded of God(2 Timothy 2:15). One of Satan's greatest weapons is to put doubt in our minds, or use half truths, or try to cunningly twist Gods Words around.

We MUST know Scripture to be complete and correct in all aspects and absolute truth and authority in our lives for dealing with ALL matters, anything less is not only un-biblical but will result in errors or problems. Even when it doesn't make sense, we must seek, remain in full faith, ask elders, and most importantly pray for wisdom, understanding, and discernment. We personally believe the KJV to be the most accurate English version, although we often use ESV, and we study several other versions as well.
